Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: The Georgia Home Education Association Annual Convention is coming to your area Thursday through Saturday, May 5-7, 2011. The conference will begin on Thursday, May 5, from 1:30 to 5:30 with special sessions on the basics of homeschooling; these sessions are free to everyone. The vendor hall is open for pre-registered GHEA MEMBERS ONLY on Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30. On Friday, the convention will run from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and continue through Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This event will be held at The Georgia International Convention Center, 2000 Convention Center Concourse, Atlanta, GA 30337-4200. Be prepared for outstanding and encouraging speakers, such as Ken Ham, Dr. Voddie Baucham, Todd Wilson, Vicki Bentley, Kevin Swanson, and Dianne Craft. The conference will offer a teen program focused on being Anchored In Truth, and once again, the Little Patriots 2011 program, The Anchor Holds, will be offered for children! In addition, there will be over 200 vendors in the exhibit hall, most of whom will offer special discounts to conference attendees.
