Throughout the session, January 4-May 16, 2011, HSLDA will be tracking legislation and scanning bills to determine whether to support or oppose proposed changes affecting Minnesota homeschoolers. Due to the historic swing in conservative support brought about by the 2010 mid-term elections, there are exciting opportunities for homeschoolers in the State House this year. We are blessed to work with Minnesota Association of Christian Home Educators (MACHE), and encourage homeschoolers to support MACHE through membership and participation in their annual statewide conference and curriculum fair. MACHE is an invaluable partner, and together we are working to preserve your freedoms. MACHE has created a four-question survey regarding your priorities for this legislative session.
