====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== Ohio: Homeschool Pioneer Goes Home Dear HSLDA Members and Friends, Mike Wolsey, homeschool father and co-founder of the Christian Home Educators of Ohio (CHEO) went to be the Lord yesterday morning, November 30, at about 4:30 a.m. Mike had undergone many medical procedures over the past several years, and after a pleasant Thanksgiving with his family, passed away peacefully in his sleep. HSLDA is sincerely grateful to Mike, and his wife Beth, for their tireless efforts in support of homeschool freedom in Ohio. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, at First Friends Church, 5455 Market Ave. N., Canton, OH 44714. Please keep Beth Wolsey and the rest of the family in your prayers. HSLDA works very closely with CHEO on homeschool-related issues, and we strongly encourage homeschool families in Ohio to become members of CHEO and join forces with homeschool families all across the state.
