====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland--Visit HSLDA at the CTCHE Evening of Encouragement! Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: The Charles Town Christian Home Educators Evening of Encouragement is coming to your area November 8, at 7 p.m. This event will be held at Fellowship Bible Church, 160 Daniel Road, Shenandoah Junction WV 25442. Homeschooling pioneers Rick and Marilyn Boyer are the featured speakers. They have homeschooled their 14 children for the last 30 years. Both are frequent keynote speakers at homeschool conferences all over the country. Marilyn will speak about "Building Godly Character in Children" and Rick will speak to men about the "Father's Hands-On Role in Homeschooling." Michael P. Donnelly, HSLDA director of international relations and staff attorney, will also speak. You can learn more about the Boyers at http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=9485 and about Mike Donnelly at http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=9486 . HSLDA will have a presence at the conference. We will be offering special and exclusive membership promotions for new members and renewing members that you will not want to miss. For more information about the Charles Town Christian Home Educators Evening of Encouragement, please contact CTCHE at patty@donnellyclan.com or visit them online at http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=9487 . We are keenly aware that our parental and homeschool freedoms are best preserved when we all stand together to defend them. We look forward to seeing you soon! Sincerely, J. Michael Smith HSLDA President ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -> How many acorns can a chipmunk hold in its cheeks? We don't know! But we do know that gathering little by little enables ordinary folks to prepare for hard times. That principle is behind HSLDA's payment plan: by paying a month at a time, families can receive an annual HSLDA membership. Meanwhile, they can feel secure as they homeschool and focus on other priorities -- their children. Don't go nuts trying to pay for membership all at once. Choose one of our convenient payment plans.
