====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== HSLDA: Join Us in Honoring the Constitution Dear HSLDA and Generation Joshua Members and Friends, In the summer of 1787, our Founding Fathers gathered to draft new articles of government. That September, they submitted the Constitution of the United States to the various states for their consideration and approval. This year, on September 18, individuals will be gathering across the nation in various locations to read the Constitution aloud. It is important that Americans read and understand this founding document, in order to continue to preserve liberty and justice for all. HSLDA and our Generation Joshua youth division invites you to join us on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 10 a.m. for a public reading of the Constitution. We will gather on the front steps of Founders Hall on the Patrick Henry College campus in Purcellville, Virginia. Please bring your family and friends, as we honor those who drafted this amazing document and read the founding laws of our nation.
