====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== HSLDA: Only 7 Days Left to Register for PHC Prep's Fall 2010 AP Courses Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: Registration for Patrick Henry College Preparatory Academy's fall semester and year-long courses closes on Friday, August 27--just a week away! If you would like to give your homeschooled high schooler the opportunity to pursue potential college credit during the 2010-2011 academic year, please register your student http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=8937 as soon as possible. HSLDA members receive a $50-$100 discount per course. PHC Prep's online Advanced Placement (AP)* courses combine academic excellence, Christian worldview teaching and discussion, and preparation for the College Board's AP exams. In fact, 94% of PHC Prep students who took the AP U.S. Government and Politics exam in May 2010 earned a passing grade of 3 or above, as compared to the 2009 national average of 55% on the same exam! AP exams can qualify students for college credit or advanced placement at more than 90% of U.S. colleges and universities.
