HSLDA: Debate Book Revised and Updated

Dear HSLDA Members and Friends:

Since 1998, HSLDA's textbook "An Introduction to Argumentation and
Debate" has provided a cornerstone of debate instruction for
homeschool families and debate clubs. Now, we're thrilled to announce
that this textbook has been revised, updated and retitled "An
Introduction to Policy Debate." The significant revisions in this
edition include:

> Updated sample case and evidence;

> Discussion questions and exercises at the end of each chapter to
assist instructors and debaters alike;

> Scripture references and biblical principles to help the novice
debater cultivate the godly understanding and use of debate skills;

> An emphasis on learning debate as a life skill rather than a game;

> Correction of errors contained in previous editions. Written for
beginning debaters, this accessible textbook opens the door to the
exciting world of debate.

-> Will your children's inheritance retain its value?

If you pass on a legacy of freedom, your children and their
children's children will thank you. But freedom is never secure;
it must always be guarded. Membership with HSLDA is an investment
in the future that can be passed on to future generations of
families wanting to teach their children at home.
