-> How many acorns can a chipmunk hold in its cheeks?

We don't know! But we do know that gathering little by little
enables ordinary folks to prepare for hard times. That principle
is behind HSLDA's payment plan: by paying a month at a time,
families can receive an annual HSLDA membership. Meanwhile, they
can feel secure as they homeschool and focus on other priorities
-- their children. Don't go nuts trying to pay for membership all
at
once. Choose one of our convenient payment plans.

9. Coming Up on HSLDA's @home e-vents...

Do you have difficult parenting questions weighing on your mind? Do
you want answers from an expert who won't fast track you to medication
or recommend "modern" parenting techniques that stray from a biblical
perspective? Well, tune in this Thursday night to get answers!

John Rosemond is father, grandfather, parenting expert, syndicated
author, and one of America's most popular speakers!

He is known for his sound advice, humor and easy, relaxed, engaging
style and we are excited to bring him right into your living room with
his first @home e-vent! This is a rare opportunity to ask John your
specific parenting questions.

Having worked with children and parents since 1971 in the field of
family counseling, John is now syndicated in approximately 250
newspapers nationwide and has also written 11 best-selling parenting
books!

His books include: "The Well-Behaved Child: Discipline that REALLY
Works!," "Making the "Terrible" Two's Terrific!," "Teen-Proofing: A
Revolutionary Approach to Fostering Responsible Decision Making in
Your Teenager," and "Parenting by The Book."

Professional accomplishments aside, John is quick to remind folks that
his real qualifications are that he's been married to the same woman
for 40 years, is the father of two successful adults, and the
grandfather of seven children. John shares a biblical approach to
raising children that will give you the answers you need to improve
the quality of your family life. Bring your questions and don't miss
this chance to get the answers you need in Parenting Questions on Your
Mind? Ask John Rosemond! on Thursday, May 27, @ 9:00 p.m. (ET)!

Next week, we have two exciting e-vents offered as free HSLDA member
benefits!

If you're homeschooling in Nebraska, join us on Tuesday June 1, @ 4:00
p.m. (ET) for a free, informative e-vent just for you! HSLDA Staff
Attorney Mike Donnelly will help you untangle the ins and outs of "How
to Homeschool in Nebraska." Prepare to participate, as Mike will take
your specific questions during a Q&A session.

Then, on Thursday June 3, @ 3:00 p.m. (ET), HSLDA attorney Scott
Woodruff explains what you need to know about teaching your children
under "Illinois Homeschool Law." You don't have to be intimidated by
homeschool legal issues--learn how to successfully navigate relevant
state-specific policies and statutes so that you can be confident in
your home education program!
