California: Summary of Changes to Student Work Permit Laws Beginning January 1, 2010, all public and private school principals who self-certify that they understand the laws related to work permits may issue work permits to students enrolled in their schools. Romania: First Homeschool Conference Held The first homeschooling conference for Romanian-speaking people took place recently in Arad, Romania, near the Hungarian border.
