Translators Needed to Help Swedish Homeschoolers A ban on homeschooling in Sweden is expected to be voted on by the Swedish parliament in June. HSLDA is doing all we can to support the small band of parents fighting for their freedom to homeschool in that country. If you are competent to translate Swedish, we could use your help. While most Swedes do speak and read English, HSLDA needs a few volunteers to help translate court documents. If you can help us, please email your contact information to: international@hslda.org ..................................................................... 8. Bible Bee Seeks Hosts Who Champion Family Discipleship The National Bible Bee is a Bible memory and Bible knowledge competition, but more importantly, it acts as a stimulus plan for family discipleship in our nation. The brand new "Sword Study" curriculum, parent and host guidebooks, and innumerable support features undergird local hosts and their contestant families as they prepare for the local Bible Bee contests on August 28, 2010. Hosts organize, plan and conduct family-centered activities throughout the summer as well as the local contest, all with the intent of encouraging parents as they disciple their children through in-depth study of the Word of God, Scripture memorization and prayer.
