Plans are now underway for the third annual HSLDA High School Symposium, Teaching High School at Home: The Basics and Beyond. We invite you and your friends to join us in Purcellville, VA, on Friday, April 9, 2010, from 8:15 a.m.-4:15 p.m. The symposium will include three general sessions including: Developing a Plan for High School, Important Pit Stops During High School, and 10 Reasons to Homeschool Teens. In addition, six breakout sessions will be offered, and you may choose two to attend: Time Management for Busy Moms, High School Transcript Clinic, Parental Rights Amendment, Praying Your Way through the Home School Years, Preparing Your Teen for College Life, or a panel discussion on Exploring Career Paths for Your Teens. In this event four professionals from HSLDA will provide you with career information to pass on to your teens. New at this year's symposium is the addition of a Generation Joshua track specifically for teens ages13-19.
