Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: Remembering the Reason...Renewing the Vision: A Homeschool Symposium is coming to two locations in Nevada on March 26 and March 27, 2010. This symposium is co-sponsored by the Nevada Homeschool Network and HSLDA. On Friday, March 26, 2010, the symposium will be held at the Plaza Hotel and Conference Center, 801 South Carson Street, Carson City, Nevada 89701. On Saturday, March 27, 2010, it will be repeated at the Texas Station, 2101 Texas Star Lane, North Las Vegas, NV 89032. In both locations, HSLDA President and Co-Founder J. Michael Smith will speak on the following topics: > Remembering the Reason, Renewing the Vision > Homeschooling in the Obama Administration > The Angry Child: What Ticks Johnny Off? In addition, HSLDA Special Needs Coordinator Diane Craft, HSLDA High School Coordinator Diane Kummer, and HSLDA Early Years Coordinator Vicki Bentley will also present sessions. Frank Schnorbus, of the Nevada Homeschool Network, will talk about Homeschooling and Nevada. HSLDA will be offering special membership discounts for those who join or renew at the Symposium.
