====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== Patrick Henry College Preparatory Academy is a distance learning program for homeschooled high schoolers and other students interested in excellent academic instruction with a fully integrated Christian worldview. The courses prepare students for the College Board's Advanced Placement* (AP*) exams and for the most rigorous college classes. PHC Prep Academy is in need of a Sr. Developer to perform contract work for approximately 2-3 months on location in Purcellville, VA. Some key tasks/requirements for the contractor are as follows: > Work with the Program Director and Network Manager to expand on an existing registration module. > Have extensive experience developing website applications in a Windows(TM) environment using the following technologies: Microsoft IIS, ASP.Net, C#, Visual Studio, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, MS SQL Server. > Further develop the web application interface with an existing Student Management System (SMS), accounting system, and an online platform where the PHC Prep courses are delivered. > The registration module business logic is in place; however, phase II development must be completed to expand for multiple courses, including the ability to add/drop courses, create automated checks and balances, and ensure financial tracking is accurate. > Capture a knowledge transfer from previous developer that completed phase I, write requirements, create the business workflow and engineer it. > Completed the project by mid-April for the 2010-2011 academic school year.
