====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== HSLDA - Still Time to Register for Event on Important Family Issues in New England! Dear HSLDA Members and Friends, You don't want to miss this exciting opportunity to learn about important issues affecting New England families! We live during times where information is critical, and our own investment in taking action is needed to protect our freedoms for future generations. Attend all or part of the day as your schedule allows! Join HSLDA Staff Attorney Michael Donnelly and other speakers from The Heritage Foundation, Family Research Council, Cornerstone Action, Massachusetts Family Institute, Alliance Defense Fund, and other New England state family policy councils to be informed and equipped about the latest state legislative trends and how you can promote pro-family values. This New England Education and Training Summit will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. Parents and teens are welcome to come for all or part of the event. Donnelly will be speaking on the legislative and judicial threats to home education in New England and the threat to parent's rights from international law. Dr. William "Bill" Martel, expert on national security, has recently been added to the agenda and will speak on current foreign policy challenges. For a full list of speakers, topics and to register visit: http://www.frcaction.org/get.cfm?i=EV09J04. Family values and freedoms are threatened in many New England states. Attend this FRC and Cornerstone-sponsored event to find out what the issues are and what you can do to defend your freedoms. I hope to see you there!
