Tennessee--Northeast Tennessee Home Education Association
Presentation on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

Dear HSLDA Members and Friends:

On October 15, the public is invited to hear HSLDA Senior Counsel
Scott Woodruff make a presentation on the UN Convention on the Rights
of the Child and how it could hurt ordinary Americans. He will also
discuss the potentially devastating impact of a related case now
pending in the U.S. Supreme Court, Graham v. Florida.

The event will start at 7 p.m. The location is the Northeast State
Technical Community College Auditorium, 2425 Highway 75, Blountville,
TN 37617-0246.

This event is free, although donations for expenses are accepted.

Parking permits are required at this facility; you can obtain a free
permit for this event by emailing Tim Price at
we3prices@embarqmail.com.

For background on the treaty, including harm it has already done in
other nations, visit http://www.hslda.org/docs/news/200906161.asp .
You can read the full text of the treaty at

We are keenly aware that our parental and homeschool freedoms are best
preserved when we all stand together to defend them. We look forward
to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,

J. Michael Smith
HSLDA President
