====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== October 8, 2009 Tennessee--Northeast Tennessee Home Education Association Presentation on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: On October 15, the public is invited to hear HSLDA Senior Counsel Scott Woodruff make a presentation on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and how it could hurt ordinary Americans. He will also discuss the potentially devastating impact of a related case now pending in the U.S. Supreme Court, Graham v. Florida. The event will start at 7 p.m. The location is the Northeast State Technical Community College Auditorium, 2425 Highway 75, Blountville, TN 37617-0246. This event is free, although donations for expenses are accepted.
