Minnesota: Dr. Brian Ray--Homeschooling Works, and Increases Freedom!

Dear HSLDA Members and Friends,

Come hear Dr. Brian Ray, president of National Home Education Research
Institute (NHERI) and homeschooling father of eight children, on
Friday, August 14, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. He will be speaking at Faith,
Hope and Love Church in Little Falls, Minnesota.

Dr. Ray will consider several questions including the following: Are
parents qualified to teach their children? Are homeschooled children
receiving an adequate academic education? What about socialization?
How will homeschooled children behave when they get into the real
world of adulthood?

Admission is FREE! However, there will be a free will offering with
proceeds going to the nonprofit NHERI. Books, tapes, and DVDs will
also be available from NHERI.

If you have any questions please contact Deanna Swedeen at
dswedeen@gmail.com or 320-468-2899.

Thank you for your support of home education in Minnesota!

Sincerely,

Michael P. Donnelly, Esq.
HSLDA Staff Attorney

-> Have you ever yelled into the wind, only to hear the sound of your
voice blown back at you?

It's hard to be heard in the midst of a storm. Trying to influence
federal legislation is much like yelling to be heard while
standing in a fierce wind. Yet when 80,000 voices join together,
they become a powerful force that cannot be drowned out.
Join HSLDA to be heard above the tempests that threaten homeschool
freedoms.
