5. Poetry Contest Deadline Approaching

Time is running out for young writers who wish to enter HSLDA's 2009
student poetry contest. Entries must arrive at HSLDA postmarked no
later than June 1. There are three categories divided by age, each
with its own theme. Entries must follow a specific form. As in the
past, winners will be awarded cash prizes and will have their poems
published on HSLDA's website.
