====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== April 14, 2009 New Hampshire--Your Help Needed to Defend Traditional Family Dear HSLDA Members and Friends, As many of you know, the New Hampshire Senate will hold a hearing on H.B. 436 which would create "genderless marriage." This is an attack on the traditional structure of the family. HSLDA supports marriage as being between a man and a woman, because this is our civilization's concept of the family. This notion of the family underpins our understanding of parents' rights, and this understanding of parent's rights is important to our rights as parents to direct the education and upbringing of our children as we see fit. You can make a difference by going to the Statehouse at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 to show your opposition to this radical redefinition of the family. Your legislative officials need to hear from you and see you and your families. ACTION REQUESTED 1. Join CPR Action and other New Hampshire families at the Statehouse on Wednesday, April 15th at 7:15 a.m. to hold signs, hand out flyers, wear stickers, and be present in the gallery at the Statehouse to show support for traditional marriage. http://www.nhcornerstone.org/events.htm . 2. You can visit the CPR Action webpage at http://www.cpraction.org/index.htm to contact your senators and encourage them to vote in support of traditional marriage. Thank you for standing for marriage and parental rights! Sincerely, Michael P. Donnelly, Esq. HSLDA Staff Attorney ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -> Can you look at the clouds and tell the direction of the wind? An interesting phenomenon of wind is that it can blow in multiple directions at the same time, at different heights from the ground. But usually there is a prevailing wind. HSLDA watches the gusts and monitors the prevailing trends of change in the legal climate of home education. So no matter which way the wind is blowing, we're there to protect your family.
