2. Georgia to Germany: Let Parents Homeschool!

The Georgia House of Representatives recently adopted a resolution
which calls on the Federal Republic of Germany to "recognize the
basic, fundamental rights of parents and allow their citizens to
determine the educational upbringing of their own children."

3. Washington: Forms Request More Than Required

Home School Legal Defense Association intervened on behalf of several
member families when school districts tried to go beyond what state
law requires in asking for information.

4. New York: Quarterly Report Challenged

A public school district tried to reject a member family's quarterly
report, but we showed officials that they had misquoted the law.

Though homeschoolers score four grade levels above others on
standardized tests, Kansas homeschoolers have always been second-class
citizens when it comes to admission to their own state colleges--until

9. PHC's Teen Leadership Camps Bolster Student Academic Progress

Teen Camps at Patrick Henry College provide a fun, focused setting for
summer academic achievement. Summer 2009 camps include Strategic
Intelligence, Constitutional Law, Journalism, Physics, Debate,

Contestant enrollment for the 2009 National Bible Bee competition is
now open. Many local Bible Bees are starting to fill up, so the Bible
