====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== West Virginia--Religious Freedom Bill Gutted Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: At the last minute, members of the Senate Judiciary Committee allowed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act to be gutted. An emaciated and almost useless bill was put in its place. The substituted bill was so pointless that HSLDA could no longer support it. The bill therefore did not emerge from the committee and is dead for this year. No more phone calls are needed. Thank you for all you did to get the bill this far. We will press this bill again next year and not stop until freedom is safe in West Virginia. Sincerely Yours, Scott A.
