Home School Legal Defense Association helped a homeschool graduate
qualify for a college scholarship without having to have his academic
credentials "verified" by a third party.

2. German Family Seeks U.S. Asylum to Homeschool Kids

Homeschooling is so important to Uwe Romeike, reports the Associated
Press, that the classically trained pianist sold his beloved grand
pianos to pay for moving his wife and five children from Germany to
the Smoky Mountain foothills of Tennessee.

3. Indiana: CPS Investigates Homeschooling

A CPS worker mistakenly told a homeschooling family they needed to
"enroll" their homeschool with state officials. Once we explained the
law, the investigator agreed to close the case.

4. Maryland: Montgomery County Imposes New 80-20 Rule?

HSLDA is investigating an apparently unlawful homeschool policy change
by Montgomery County public school officials.

Capitol Hill for the first Congressional Action Program Lobby Day in
the 111th Congress.

7. New Movie about Patrick Henry College Available!

8. Enroll in the National Bible Bee Now!

Contestant enrollment for the 2009 National Bible Bee competition is
now open. Many local Bible Bees are starting to fill up, so the Bible
Bee headquarters is urging you to enroll as soon as possible! The

30, 2009.
