Ohio: Help Elect Homeschool-Friendly Candidates

Dear HSLDA Members,

CHESCA is a support group that is working to launch a new organization
called Ohioans for Educational Freedom ("OEF"). Their intent is to
promote awareness of the importance of the Ohio State Board of
Education (OSBE) to homeschoolers and others and to support the
election of home education-friendly candidates to the OSBE.

In the most recent election, HSLDA directed you to CHESCA's website to
use information about candidates in the 2008 elections for OSBE --
this is the kind of helpful work OEF intends to carry on. Electing
homeschool-friendly officials is important work, and we encourage you
to support OEF in this endeavor. OEF is launching by email this
weekend, so please do visit their website to learn about how you can
support what they are doing.

Visit their website by clicking here:

HSLDA is privileged to serve you by resolving specific issues for
individual families and school districts and by helping coordinate
influence to protect our overall freedoms. Your membership with HSLDA
allows us to advocate for homeschooling freedom in Ohio, with our
federal government, and all over the world. We thank you for your
attention to these important matters of freedom and for your ongoing
support.

Sincerely,

Michael P. Donnelly, Esq.
Staff Attorney

-> Can you look at the clouds and tell the direction of the wind?

An interesting phenomenon of wind is that it can blow in multiple
directions at the same time, at different heights from the ground.
But usually there is a prevailing wind. HSLDA watches the gusts
and monitors the prevailing trends of change in the legal climate
of home education. So no matter which way the wind is blowing,
we're there to protect your family.
