3. Register Now for HSLDA's High School Symposium

Are you teaching high school at home and feel that you could benefit
from a training session? Or, are you considering teaching high
school? If so, plan now to attend the second annual HSLDA High School
Symposium in Purcellville, VA on Friday, April 17, 2009 from 8:30 a.m.

4. Town Council Honors PHC Moot Court Champions

In celebration of Patrick Henry College's recent national moot court
championship, the Purcellville Town Council honored the team at its
February 10 meeting. With the town council standing to salute 18 PHC
team members who competed in both regional and national tournaments,
Purcellville Mayor Bob Lazaro handed each a certificate acknowledging
their achievements.

6. PHC Scholarship Fund for Members Accepting Applications

If you are going to be attending Patrick Henry College as a freshman
student in the fall of 2009, are part of an HSLDA member family, have
a high school record of outstanding academic achievement and community
service, and need financial assistance, you are eligible to apply for
the scholarship. Applications are being accepted until May 15.
