====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== HSLDA: Deadline Approaching for Nationwide Homeschool Academic Study Dear HSLDA Member: As many of you know HSLDA, in partnership with National Home Education Research Institute (NHERI), is conducting the largest ever homeschool academic study on students K-12 in the past 10 years. In order to effectively defend homeschooling, especially in the current political climate, we need to have current research on the academic performance of homeschoolers from as many homeschoolers as possible. Therefore, we are expanding this study to include all HSLDA members who would like to participate. Previous studies have been invaluable in showing the success and effectiveness of a home-based education. There are prizes to be won for being part of the study.
