====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== HSF: Help Homeschoolers Through Government Employee Charity Programs Dear HSLDA Member, As you may know, the Home School Foundation is the charitable arm of Home School Legal Defense Association. However, you may not know that the foundation is a qualified charity for the Neighbor to Nation Campaign, which works through state, county, city and local municipal government giving programs. In the past year we helped hundreds of struggling homeschool children through several funds set up to meet their specific needs. As the charitable arm of HSLDA we assist widows, children of single parents, special needs children, college students and homeschool families facing emergencies like devastating illness or natural disasters. Currently we are providing aid to homeschoolers recovering from recent Gulf Coast hurricanes and Midwest floods.
