====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== HSLDA--Local Candidates Sought for Job Openings Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: We are seeking qualified candidates for the following part-time and full-time job openings at HSLDA: WEB TECHNICIAN Home School Legal Defense Association is seeking an entry-level Web Technician to work in our Web Services Department. This is a part-time on-site position. Qualified candidates should be very familiar with Internet use and Office applications, and have at least a minimal level of knowledge of HTML. A high level of attention to detail is important for this position. Proficiency with HTML and a working knowledge of basic web tools and database skills are a significant plus. Duties will include but are not limited to updating and posting web content, maintaining email accounts and updating databases. Depending on candidate skill level there may be opportunity for some design and development. Candidates must be able to work in blocks of time of no less than four hours between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, at our office in Purcellville, VA. A minimum of 10 hours a week is required. We are searching for a mature, dependable, committed Christian who is seeking permanent, full-time employment. This is an on-site only position. Job duties include answering numerous phone inquiries and emails from prospective members regarding HSLDA services and state homeschooling law as well as entering information into our database. Qualified candidates must possess a calm, poised and personable telephone manner and have a working knowledge of the computer.
