The Dudek family in Archfeld, Germany will be tried on June 18 for homeschooling their children. The Dudeks have quietly and successfully educated their children at home in obedience to God but in the face of Germany's restrictive laws regarding homeschooling.

HSLDA's homeschool Photo Contest is approaching, so start dusting your lenses and thinking about your entries. Submission dates are July 1 through August 1.
Students must submit a photo with one of the following fruits of the spirit as their theme:
Category 1 (students 7-11): Gentleness Category 2 (students 12-15): Faithfulness Category 3 (students 16-19): Self-control
