District of Columbia--Action Needed
to Defeat Harmful Homeschool Regulation
Dear HSLDA Members and Friends:
Your attendance is needed this Wednesday evening at the DC State Board
of Education (SBOE) Regular Meeting to persuade the SBOE that the
newest draft of homeschool regulations must be rewritten. If you
would like to speak during the public comment period before the
meeting begins, you must email Beverley Wheeler at
Beverley.Wheeler@dc.gov TODAY. There is no need to sign up if you
plan to only attend the meeting.
HSLDA attorneys will also be attending and publicly commenting at the
meeting.
ACTION REQUESTED
Attend the SBOE regular meeting this Wednesday, May 2, at 5:30 p.m.
and publicly comment on the proposed regulations. If you plan to
speak, you must contact Beverley Wheeler at Beverley.Wheeler@dc.gov no
later than TODAY. You will have two minutes to speak.
