New Hampshire--Your Presence Needed at Rally to Protest Restrictive Homeschool Bill
Dear HSLDA Members and Friends,
Thank you for your continued efforts to defeat Senate Bill 337--your calls, emails, letters, and presence have been noticed. We are making progress, but still more action is needed.
This Wednesday, May 14, the full House will likely vote on S.B. 337, and CheNH (Christian Home Educators of New Hampshire) is organizing two demonstrations that day in opposition to the bill. They will be held at:
> The grounds in front of the State House; and
> The front sidewalk outside the arch in front of the State House. (CheNH is still in the process of obtaining a permit for this gathering, so it is still tentative.)
We need as many homeschoolers as possible to show up (with signs) for these demonstrations.
ACTION REQUESTED
Attend the rally at the State House on Wednesday, May 14. The legislative session begins at 10 a.m., but demonstrators should be there by 9 a.m. You can make a sign to hold. Some suggestions are: "Vote NO on S.B. 337," "Where's the problem?" or, "Home Education is Not Broken."
Contact your representative and ask him/her to vote no on S.B. 337 this Wednesday. You can find contact information at http://capwiz.com/hslda/home/

Thank you for your outstanding efforts to preserve homeschooling freedom in New Hampshire!
Very truly yours,
Michael P. Donnelly, Esq. HSLDA Staff Attorney
