-> Is customer service an art or a science?

For us, good customer service is both an art and a science
-it should appeal to our members and be effective. Consider what
our members say about us:

We're thankful for the support HSLDA membership provides us. We'd
never homeschool without them. We highly recommend HSLDA to all
homeschoolers. - North Tonawanda, NY

I cannot imagine our homeschool journey without HSLDA's strong
leadership, protection, and guidance. God bless HSLDA!

1. Florida: Homeschool Family Accused of Truancy

After trying a charter school, a Florida family returned to the true
freedom of homeschooling--only to learn their decision was not viewed
favorably by officials. Home School Legal Defense Association helped
the family avoid truancy changes and other unlawful restrictions.

2. Join the Fight to Preserve Parental Rights

As a homeschooling parent, you may already be aware of the dangers
confronting parental rights. Recognition of parental rights is fading
within the court system, even as the threat of international law
approaches on the horizon. But there is hope. Once passed, the
Parental Rights Amendment will ensure the protection and preservation
of these long-held rights.

3. Homeschooling Thru High School: Financing College

Don't wait until your senior is filling out college applications to
investigate sources of cash for college. Use the high school years to
begin exploring college financial aid and scholarships. These links
will help you get started:

4. PHC Stages Two Plays this Spring

This semester, Patrick Henry College's student-run drama group is

February 20-23, while seniors Kaylyn Carlson and Anne Corda are
currently assembling cast and crew for P.G. Wodehouse's "Leave It To
Psmith."

5. 'Home School Heartbeat': Love and Respect in the Homeschool
Marriage

Eggerichs, God has called homeschooling parents to be both good
parents and good partners. Tune in for more with host Mike Smith.
