====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== HSLDA's CAP Training Day in One Week Dear HSLDA Members and Friends, HSLDA's Federal Relations Department is looking forward to training homeschooling families who have registered for our Congressional Action Program (CAP). Our CAP training day will take place at Patrick Henry College on Monday, December 10 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration is open until Friday, December 7, for those who wish to attend. Our goals for the day include having current CAP members share their lobbying experiences and having speakers address the legislative issues that concern homeschoolers. We will also prepare families for our second CAP on the Hill lobbying day in Washington, D.C., tentatively scheduled for January 22, 2008.
