====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== Louisiana: Student Teams Assemble for Governor's Race Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: Generation Joshua, a division of Home School Legal Defense Association, is excited to announce its 2007 Student Action Teams. These teams provide real-life civics education by mobilizing teens and parents to carefully selected political races on behalf of pro-family and pro-homeschooling candidates. HSLDA PAC has endorsed Bobby Jindal for Louisiana Governor. Generation Joshua is organizing groups of teens and parents to participate in this year's Student Action Teams from October 14-21 in support of Jindal's campaign. All food, lodging, and transportation for the week will be covered for Generation Joshua members. Specifically, Generation Joshua is organizing teams in Shreveport, Lake Charles, and the suburbs of New Orleans. Involvement by Louisiana residents will be vital to the success of this year's effort.
