Texas: Social Worker Tries to Investigate Children's English Skills A member family called our hotline when a social worker appeared at their door, questioning their children's English skills. We helped the family persuade the social worker to close the case, without their children being interviewed. Illinois: Homeschool Family Receives Several Calls a Day from Authorities Daily phone calls from public school officials prompted a member family to contact us. The family had notified officials that they intended to homeschool, but authorities wanted additional paperwork. We intervened, and the phone calls ended.
