Florida: Several Counties Illegally Requiring Evaluation Deadline HSLDA received reports from our members that Lake, Glades, Bradford, and Miami-Dade counties were setting a specific deadline by which the year-end evaluations of homeschoolers were due. Texas: Fruitvale Public Schools Tries to Oversee Homeschool When a Texas member family withdrew their children from public school in order to homeschool, they informed the public school as a courtesy. Their courtesy was reciprocated by unnecessary demands sent to them in a letter.
