====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== June 5, 2007 New Hampshire--Final Vote is Tomorrow on S.B. 18 Make Calls to Defend Parents from Increased Governmental Intrusion Dear HSLDA members and friends, Last week, the New Hampshire House Finance Committee narrowly voted 13-12 in favor of Senate Bill 18. Some N.H. House representatives have said that legislators have not been hearing from their constituents on this bill. The bill is scheduled for a final vote tomorrow. Please make eight calls tonight. First call your own representative, and then your assigned representatives on the list below. This vote will be close and your calls can make a difference. In your own words deliver this message: "Please attend tomorrow's House session and vote against Senate Bill 18 tomorrow. This is a bad bill that alienates parents, puts an unfunded mandate on cities and towns and will cause disruption in the classroom." You do not have to identify yourself as a homeschooler.
