====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== HSLDA: Hosts Needed for Patrick Henry College Event in Atlanta Dear HSLDA members and friends: When we founded HSLDA many years ago we had no idea of the adventure that God would lead us through. Countless families have been served and our nation has benefited greatly through our team effort to make homeschooling safe and legal for a new generation. In addition to my duties as Chairman of the Board for HSLDA, I now serve as the Chancellor of Patrick Henry College (PHC). I know that many of you have supported and prayed for PHC since its founding in 2000. I had the privilege of serving for six years as the first president of PHC and have witnessed firsthand the work of God in using the college to educate and train many young men and women who will one day shape our culture and lead our nation. My new role as Chancellor has me spreading the good news about Patrick Henry College. I now meet people from coast to coast to share the unique vision, mission and future of Patrick Henry College as well as the many accomplishments that we have achieved. The vast majority of current PHC friends have heard about us through simple word of mouth from friends like you. I need your help to spread the news about PHC in the Atlanta area. Patrick Henry College will be hosting a special dinner and banquet in Atlanta on Friday, April 13, 2007. Would you be willing to help with this event by serving as a table host? Your role as a table host is to invite three other couples who you believe would be interested in Patrick Henry College. The dinner is complimentary, but we will be asking those in attendance to consider making a gift. By doing this you can help me spread the word about PHC and allow God to move in the hearts of others who will in turn pray and support our efforts.
