====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== January 24, 2007 Wyoming--Compulsory Attendance Bill Defeated 8-1 Dear HSLDA members and friends, Earlier this week, we let you know about House Bill 129, which would have raised the compulsory attendance age in Wyoming from 16 to 18. Yesterday, the House Education Committee defeated this legislation by an overwhelming vote of 8-1. Your calls and emails were instrumental in defeating this pesky legislation now for the second time by the same margin.
