4. Home School Foundation: Benefit Needy Homeschoolers While You Shop

6. 'Home School Heartbeat': Homeschooling and ADHD

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder is a challenge for any
student, whether he is homeschooled or attends a traditional school.
But studies now show that homeschooling can boost an ADHD child's
academic success. Dr. Steven Duvall, director of the School Psychology
Training Program at Fort Hays State University in Kansas, shares the
results of his research on this week's Home School Heartbeat.

7. Generation Joshua: Benjamin Rush Award Winners

Congratulations to the 2006 Benjamin Rush Awards winners. Brittany
Barden, 18, of Kansas, achieved the American Statesman level and had
the highest total points. This was the third year in a row that
Brittany achieved this level. Also reaching the top level was Kyle
Forti, 17, of Indiana. The final recipient was South Carolina
resident Jonathan Spratley, 13, the youngest award winner ever, who
achieved the American Citizenship level.
