Illinois: State's Attorney Backs Down When the Williamson County State's Attorney declared that Illinois law allows public school officials to review homeschoolers' curriculum, we had to set the record straight. Parental Consent Required for Special Needs Evaluation The Federal Department of Education adopted new regulations for homeschoolers with special needs. The decision represents a victory for parents' rights won in part by our litigation team.
