HSLDA: Announcing the Williamsburg Homeschool Support Group Seminar

Dear HSLDA members and friends:

More than 300 years ago, patriots convened in Williamsburg, Virginia
to change their way of life--a meeting that resulted in a new nation.
Today, homeschool parents--who are changing the culture of our nation
one family at a time--are invited to meet together to be inspired,
motivated, and informed.

JOIN OTHER FAMILY LEADERS, Support Group Leaders, and Church Leaders!
Colonial Williamsburg is the colorful fall setting for HEAV's Virginia
Homeschool Leadership Conference. Please join us Friday, October 27
and Saturday, October 28, at the Woodlands Hotel and Suites Conference
Center in Colonial Williamsburg for a conference for leaders--family
leaders, support group leaders, church leaders, and all potential

ENCOURAGE OTHERS in leadership positions to join you--board members,
newsletter editors, committee chairmen, even pastors and church
leaders who support your homeschool efforts. Come with others in your
group or bring your family to enjoy a time of refreshing. Renew your
vision for homeschooling and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage as you
wander back to the 18th century.

EXPERIENCE A REVOLUTIONARY MEETING with Jeff Myers! You are invited to
join one of HEAV's most respected and popular convention speakers, Dr.
Jeff Myers, who will share his critical vision for families and
leaders, "Passing the Baton." You will understand how to effectively
"pass the baton" of leadership to the next generation of
homeschoolers--your children.

ETERNAL VIGILANCE! Saturday afternoon Chris Klicka, HSLDA senior
counsel, will inspire you to keep your eye on the goal. He will take
you from our generation's revolutionary ideas of homeschooling, to the
sacrifices of committed men and women who made it a reality, to the
present-day homeschool challenges we face at the state and federal
levels. You will be compelled to remain "eternally vigilant" in
protecting our hard-fought freedoms to homeschool in the United
States. Chris' heartfelt life message will inspire you to stay in the

I look forward to having you join me and the HEAV Board at this
life-changing conference.

-> Is customer service an art or a science?

For us, good customer service is both an art and a science
-it should appeal to our members and be effective. Consider what
our members say about us:

The freedom HSLDA allows me to have as I homeschool is wonderful!
They handle the law and I get to dedicate the time to my daughter.
- National City, CA

HSLDA members since 1993, our membership is just as important to
us as our children's curriculum. Thank you HSLDA for all you do on
our behalf! - West Valley, NY
