====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== September 6, 2006 HSLDA Announces "Building Your Homeschool Together" Seminar Dear HSLDA members and friends: HSLDA is delighted to announce an exciting new seminar for homeschooling couples. Scott and Marcia Somerville offer "Building Your Homeschool Together," a seminar for homeschool couples at First Baptist Church Grandview in Grandview, Mo., Oct. 13-14. "Building Your Homeschool Together" is designed to help your family reach its homeschooling potential. Scott and Marcia Somerville know from experience that homeschooling goes better when husbands and wives each understand their special place on the homeschool team. Scott has helped countless families since he joined HSLDA as an attorney in 1992. Marcia homeschooled all six Somerville children, and then served thousands more by writing her award-winning curriculum, "Tapestry of Grace." Now Scott and Marcia are ministering together to help other couples succeed. This event opens with a free session beginning at 7:30 Friday evening. Scott tells men "What Wives Wish Husbands Knew about Homeschooling," while Marcia reminds the women that "The Nearness of God Is My Good." On Saturday, Scott's "Dad's Track" inspires men to seize the opportunity to be head coach and captain of a winning team, while Marcia's separate messages for women give them the tools they need to run a grace-filled homeschool. In "Putting It Together," couples reunite to apply what they have learned to real-life situations. For more information or to register, please visit: http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=3273 . Friday night is free and open to all, but attendance on Saturday is limited. Register now to be assured admittance, or sign up at the church on Friday night for $10 more. For more information, ask for seminar coordinator Yvonne Wyzga at (800) 705-7487. In His Service, J.
