Maryland--Announcing Homeschooling Thru High School seminars

August 22, 2006

Dear HSLDA members and friends:

Covenant Life School's homeschooling ministry (the Family School's
Program) is hosting Homeschooling Thru High School seminars on
September 22, 2006. This event will be held at the Covenant Life
Church, 7501 Muncaster Mill Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20877.

HSLDA High School Coordinators, Diane Kummer and Becky Cooke will be
speaking on "Avoiding Transcript Trauma: Triage for High School
Records and Documentation", "Wind for Your Sails: Encouragement for
Teaching High School," "Developing a Plan for High School: Sample
Four-Year Plans" and "Homeschooling the College Bound: Successfully
Navigating the Road to Admission." Join Diane and Becky as they
support and encourage you in teaching your teen at home. We count it
a privilege to serve you, and appreciate your partnership with us to
defend homeschool freedoms.

For more information about the Homeschooling Thru High School seminars
at Covenant Life School, please contact Covenant Life School at:
301-869-4500, jyoun@covlif.org, or www.covenantlifeschool.org.

We are keenly aware that our parental and homeschool freedoms are best
preserved when we all stand together to defend them. We look forward
to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,

J. Michael Smith
HSLDA President

-> Remember the last time you wrote a term paper?

Research can be grueling-digging through archives, wading through
articles, conducting interviews. But if it's related to
homeschooling, you can relax a little. There's a good chance that
you'll find what you're looking for in HSLDA's bimonthly
Home School Court Report. Providing in-depth, insightful articles
on much of what affects the world of homeschoolers, the
Court Report is a must-read for the serious homeschooler. This
publication is provided free to each HSLDA member.
