====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== August 4, 2006 Michigan: Support Tim Walberg in the August 8 Primary Dear HSLDA members, Michigan voters in the 7th Congressional District have a choice to make on Tuesday, August 8, as to how their views on life, marriage, and homeschooling will be represented for the next two years in the United States House of Representatives. Tim Walberg, an endorsed candidate of HSLDA-PAC and other conservative organizations, which include the Right to Life of Michigan, National Right to Life, Club for Growth, Eagle Forum, and Concerned Women for America, is running against one of the most liberal Republicans in Congress. First, if you live in the 7th District, I encourage you to vote for Tim on August 8. Tim has demonstrated his commitment to conservative values through the HSLDA-PAC endorsement process, which involved a candidate questionnaire and an interview with the HSLDA-PAC Board. He is the clear conservative in this race. Second, whether you live in the district or not, I encourage you to volunteer for Tim's campaign. Statistics show that the majority of voters do not make up their mind until three days prior to an election. From August 4-8, a Generation Joshua Student Action Team will be active in Jackson, MI. Families from around the district will be knocking on doors, distributing literature, making phone calls, and waving signs for Tim. You and your family can become a part of this important effort by volunteering your time any day during August 4-8 at the following location: Walberg Campaign Headquarters 317 W.
