1. Learning Curve in New Hampshire

Thanks to two years of hard work by New Hampshire homeschoolers, and
the gracious blessing of God, families no longer are required to
submit curriculum information to the local superintendent. There is a

2. Utah: Tooele County Lags Behind

3. SAT and ACT Prep Materials available

Thanks to the generosity of NFL players, and the coordinated efforts
of eKnowledge and HSLDA, homeschoolers can get important test prep
materials for only $9.95! Many families have found it beneficial for
their students. Homeschooler Kevin Paddock writes: "This is our second
time ordering the donated program--first child is in college. He took

5. 'Home School Heartbeat': High School Lessons for Life

As you think over the values you want to impart to your high schooler,
take time out from math, science, English, and history to teach some
important life skills. This week, Mike Smith talks about five
categories of "life lessons" for you to consider including in your
child's coursework. Long after the high school transcript and GPA have
faded into memory, these skills will be carrying your child through
adulthood.
