====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== August 1, 2006 HSLDA: Registration Open for Homeschool Parent and Regional Seminar Dear HSLDA members and friends: You are invited to a homeschool parent and regional support group seminar being sponsored by Home School Legal Defense Association, in conjunction with the Smoky Mountain Home Education Association (SMHEA) and the Tennessee Home Education Association (THEA) to be held in Knoxville, TN, at Park West Church of God on August 25-26, 2006. This is NOT a homeschool conference in the sense that we won't have a vendors' hall and all the things that normally accompany a state or local conference. Our goal is to encourage and equip homeschool leaders and support group members to advance the Kingdom of God through homeschooling for the long-term. In addition our student program will encourage, instruct, and excite the youth on how to get involved civically and make a difference. It is imperative that you pre-register as soon as possible as we can only accommodate the first 300 adults and 200 teens. Early registration is only open until Tuesday, August 8.
