Last night the Pennsylvania House of Representatives passed House Joint Resolution 2381, a constitutional amendment to define marriage in Pennsylvania as between one man and one woman. Thank you for your calls to state representatives expressing your support of this measure. This legislation now goes to the Pennsylvania Senate for consideration. Members of the Senate need to know that Pennsylvania families support this legislation. HJR 2381 would not only prohibit same-sex marriage but also any form of civil union or domestic partnership between homosexuals. Your immediate communication to the members of the Senate will greatly encourage them to vote in favor of this legislation. Please join in this fight to preserve the traditional definition of marriage and family in Pennsylvania. Contact your state senator today! Action Requested: (1) Please call or write (both would be better) your state senator with this message: "Please vote for House Joint Resolution 2381, the Marriage Protection Amendment, which would preserve traditional marriage by defining it as between one man and one woman." You do not have to identify yourself as a homeschooler, as this issue affects all families in Pennsylvania.
