Dear HSLDA members and friends: Your voice was heard! The sponsor of House Bill 2608 has agreed to amend his bill to remove the provision which would have prohibited 16 and 17-year-olds from getting a driver's license unless they pass a state math test. The Speaker of the House, Todd Hiett, also supports removing the math requirement. Phone calls are therefore no longer needed at this time. Our special thanks go to Rep.
