The "Shine on the State House Day" event, sponsored by Christian Home Educators Network of Maryland, is a terrific opportunity to meet the people who influence legislation that affects us. It will remind them that thriving homeschool families from every corner of the state continue to be actively involved in the governmental process. A group photo with Lt. Governor Steele and all the homeschool students on the grand marble staircase is planned.
