The Christian Home Educators of Franklin County is hosting HSLDA Attorney Scott Woodruff on January 21, 2006. Attorney Woodruff will be speaking on "Your Rights and Responsibilities as a Homeschooling Family." He will also explain Virginia homeschool law as well as outlining the way to respond if a social worker knocks at your door and wants to enter your home to question your children. The event is for moms only and will be held at the Franklin Heights Baptist Church, 110 Hilltop Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. There will be a $10 admission fee at the door. Refreshments will be provided. The event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please stop by the HSLDA booth if you plan to attend! When you stop by, bring a friend and you could receive a gift from us. For each person you bring who applies for membership, we will give you a $10 book coupon which can be used for the purchase of HSLDA publications or renewing your HSLDA membership. Your friend will also receive a $10 book coupon to be used towards HSLDA publications or towards their new membership.
