====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== Dear HSLDA members and friends: Yesterday, the New Hampshire senate passed House Bill 406. This bill will greatly simplify the paperwork requirements of the annual homeschool notice. The bill, which previously passed the House, will now go to the Governor. The Senate Education Committee recommended an amendment that would have watered down the bill. After many of you made calls, and sent postcards to your senators, however, the full senate rejected the amendment. Thanks to the hard work of homeschoolers we are very close to reducing the administrative load on homeschool families and officials.
